Video and nostalgia

Online video seems to be the next exciting thing to watch for. Music videos and few television shows can be found, purchased, and downloaded easily. Feature length movie and other popular vintage television shows are expected to follow.

This seems to me a dream come true. When I was just a kid, I used to think that I could visit local television station to watch television shows that I missed. I was hoping that they have sort of videos that I could rent or purchase, just like a video rental store in the neighborhood. Too bad, that wasn’t the case. Worst, the video store closed suddenly (after some sort of raid). I was really disappointed, because many ‘great’ movies that time (at least that what was I thought) were lost.

Google helped me finding to reconstruct those childhood experience through music and images. Still, nothing beats watching those movies alive again. So, this is why I get really excited finding some of my favorite superhero-movies. It is remarkable hearing the old tunes, and seeing those characters again! So without further due, let me introduce you to the following superheroes:

Gaban
OpeningClosing
The coolest super-police-robot. He has a star-trek like space ship, with a big dragon robot, plus nifty red space scooter. Occasionally, he could call a huge drilling machine to destroy the ground. And oh, he had a lightsabor kind of sword. Gaban was then followed by Sharivan.

Goggle V
(I used to mispelled Goggle and Google) These are the first and the original group of super heroes before the Power Ranger era. I used to wish for their transformation watch. And I still think that their robot is really cool.

Hurricane Polymar
He is the super of superhero with an amazing bulletproof ability, and he can change into any shape that he want, be it a jet plane or even a submarine.

Voltus V
I didn’t really watch this – I think Godsigma is better. But I love the carton robot model that I bought that time.

Kamen Rider Black
OpeningClosing
The first japanese super hero movie that I watch in the television. It is one of the many version of Kamen Rider. I was fortunate to be able to watch its ending.
