Happy and have a blessed Easter season everyone!

We were singing at the Easter vigil mass at St. Francis of Assisi. The mass begun @ 930 pm with outdoor procession. It wasn’t raining tho it was pretty cloudy the whole day (in fact, I think it was drizzling when we arrived there). This easter vigil is special, because it was celebrated with full readings (there were 7 of them), psalms, as well as baptism. Some of the songs were Pass it on, Welcome to the family, Up from the water , Join in the dance, and Jesus Christ is risen today.

New design

Monday, March 21st, 2005

*Finally, something new* :P

Introducing the next beta version of albert.tanutama.com. Beta again? Yeah, I guess Google has influenced me that much. No really. You might noticed some funny wordings on this site (they are called dummy text – a.k.a I don’t know what to write so I grab some usual designer favorite lorem ipsum text so there you go), missing pages (portfolio and about page is not ready), and inconsistent look and feel from previous beta (Gosh! and I call myself designer and usability expert? geee…). So, now you know why I call it as “Beta”.

Besides this obvious explanation above, I guess, I’m still tinkering around with the design that really suits me. It’s pretty challenging because it involves conversation with “self”. I guess, that’s one of the reason of why I choose a really colorful design. Diversity.

So, thank you for coming to my weblog – it’s really great to read your comments. And feel free to do so. I’ll be back and update this blog more frequently (and I’ve been telling that eons ago). Cheers!

Migration in progress

Hi all. I’m currently migrating new design into this weblog. Expect to see lots of changes happening around here. albert.tanutama.com will be converted into the homepage, while the weblog will move into albert.tanutama.com/weblog.htm. Some links are not activated yet. I wish to complete the migration by mid of next week :) Thanks for visiting.

Looking at my blog and wonder

Wednesday, March 9th, 2005

Why didn’t I post any updates? Well, I’ve actually written a couple of drafts but I’m afraid that they might not get to see the light of the day. First, I didn’t manage to add valuable insight to the article that I’d like to post. Second, the editing process have made it dry and lack of the warmth of personal expression. Without those factors, it felt that blogging is not complete.

Anyway, there are a number of pending tasks that really keep me occupied for the past few days (hint: beta 2 is coming up). And for the time being – I’ll accomplish those tasks first.

The Innovator’s Dilemma

Wednesday, March 2nd, 2005

I’m currently interested in learning Clayton Christensen’s works. He’s the author of “The Innovator’s Dilemma”. The main idea of this books is about how successful companies failed despite of having good management. In fact, good management was noted by Christensen as an important factor in causing those failures.
