1982…

Sunday, September 12th, 2004

That’s what my (new) step counter shows. I think it’ll be interesting to find out the pattern of human movement. Say, is there any significant difference between weekday and weekend and which day I’ll walk the most. In this way, I might be to tell when I should do my exercise (as if) :P

One quick search using google shows this article from University of Nebraska:

How many steps do you walk each day? Maybe you have heard the guidelines about walking 10,000 steps per day… If you are a sedentary person you may only average about 2000 to 3000 steps a day. Adding steps has many health benefits including weight control, improved blood pressure and cholesterol levels, and a decrease in the risk of cancer, diabetes, osteoporosis and heart disease.

You might want to check other and figures for walking facts from ramblers (for UK)

Thursday, September 9th, 2004

One of the recent project that I’ve done for the past one month. It is a website for people who are interested to come for annual AFACT meeting and conference. They can register for the conference and later, download all the conference materials, since the conference attempt to be eco-friendly by going paperless.

Update: This AFACT webside design received DesignFirm award with a score of: 94 out of a possible 99 points.
